The 12 Form is a short sequence of movements that can be completed in a few minutes and within a small space. This form was created by the current head of the Wu family as an introduction to Wu style tai chi chuan for complete beginners and those with busy schedules. The fact that the 12 form is a short form means that it is easier for people to learn and practice whilst still maintaining all the core principles of Wu style tai chi chuan.

 

A one hour session would involve basic warm-up exercises, learning the 12 form and anything else from the beginners syllabus. The 12 form can be learnt within a few weeks and can form a solid foundation for all round health, self-defensive and more.
