The seated form was designed by the head of the Wu family to enable people with limited mobility to practice tai chi chuan. This form only takes a few minutes to practice and is perfect for people confined to a wheel chair or unable to stand for long periods of time who wish to learn and enjoy the various benefits of practicing tai chi chuan.
A one hour session would involve basic warm-up exercises, learning the seated form and anything else that may be applicable from the beginners syllabus. The seated form can be learnt within a few weeks and can form a solid foundation for long-term health, self-defensive and more.
